Christin studied drums in Germany & the Netherlands and did her Master studies in Los Angeles/USA, where she studied with Prof. Peter Erskine (University Of Southern California) and Jeff Hamilton.

Christin has played on several (inter)national festivals (e.g. Big Band Festival Imatra/Finland, Jazzfestival Grahamstown/South Africa, Port Townsend Jazzfestival/USA) and toured recently through Middle East, East Europe and China.

The young drummer & composer is freelancing all around Germany and  part of diverse projects from jazz, pop to funk & fusion. She was also part of  Carolin Kebekus'  band in the TV-show "Pussy Terror TV" (ARD/WDR) in summer 2018.

At the moment she is working on her first solo-album with her new surf-rock/fusion project "ORANGE LINE". Besides from that, she already established the cinematic sound orchestra "Operation Grand Slam", which consists of members of the NDR bigband, Jan Delay's band & Anna Depenbusch.  This large ensemble plays cinematique Funk, Boogaloo & punchy Jazz-Rock and has already played on the international Elbjazz Festival 2017.

Christin recently composed film music for the short movie "One last sigh before nightfall" (dir.: Heikko Deutschmann, arte/SWR production) which was running on film festivals worldwide (New York, New Delhi, London, Berlin, Afula/Israel, Kitzbühel/Austria, Middlebury, Vermont/USA & beyond) and awarded with numerous prices.

She teaches at University for Music, Theatre & Media in Hanover, is now living in Hamburg and rewarded with the Composition Scholarship for young artists of the Ministry for Science & Culture Lower-Saxony, the Dorothea-Erxleben-Scholarship at University for Music, Theatre & Media in Hanover and the Dr. Langner Jazz Master Scholarship at University for Music & Theatre in Hamburg.
